Raised around animals my entire life, and couldn’t imagine it any other way! My childhood pets included dogs, cats, roosters, chickens, turtles, ducks, rabbits, fish – just to name a few! My decision to change careers & focus on pets came from my strong passion for animal well-being & happiness. My husband & I reside in Costa Mesa, along with our two rescue pups, Marley & Foxy. A graduate from Cal State Fullerton, I am an active member of PETA, & volunteer of Pet Match Rescue – through which I also foster pups. I am certified in Pet CPR & First Aid. I am also the Animal Welfare columnist for The Examiner. I enjoy spending time at the dog park & beach with my furry kids, volunteering with several non-profits focused on both the well-being of people & animals. This includes One Heartland, Habitat for Humanity, Pet Match Rescue & PETA. I have hosted several fundraisers for various charities. My pup Marley successfully completed several obedience classes, plus he placed 2nd, twice in his agility training!

Ah animals, where do I even begin? My fascination with any kind of animal started at a very young age and continues to this very day. Any stray that comes my way is sure to get a helping hand. And there have been many! From butterflies to beetles, I love them all, but especially dogs. My passion for dogs is great, I love them. Before joining the Pooch’s Best Friend team, I was (and still am) Nadia’s pet sitter while she is out of town. I live for those sunny days spent peacefully with my pups by my side. In the future I plan on continuing my involvement in working with animals and progress to help them in any way possible. I strive to one day be able to open up my own dog rescue center, that would be my true goal in life. I am also certified in pet CPR & First Aid.

Growing up surrounded by animals, I quickly learned to love and appreciate everything they have to offer. They give out an unconditional sort of love that we will never be able to understand. My first experience with this was when I was given my first dog, Shilo, at the age of ten. Caring for her was the most incredible way to not only learn responsibility, but through the process I found out how amazing animals are. She had a sense of humor and always made me laugh, she got mad when I would leave, happy when I came home, and grumpy when hungry. She was truly my best friend. My love for animals turned into my dream for my future. I volunteered at the Huntington Beach Animal Shelter for a while and have been looking for an opportunity to care for animals once again. Pooch’s Best Friend has given me just that. I am so excited to meet all the new personalities that each animal has to offer. I am certified in pet CPR & first aid.

Animals have always been a big part of my life. Being around animals truly makes me happy and I couldn't imagine my life without them. I have had a few different dogs through out the years, as well as lizards, frogs, hamsters, hermit crab and fish and they mean the world to me. I love coming home to my happy dogs, who are excited to see me no matter what. Taking care of my own pets is what has inspired me to want to spend more time with all kinds of dogs and animals in general. There is a special bond that is created with each animal and is one of the reasons that I enjoy all sorts of animals. This led me to spending many hours volunteering at the Irvine Animal Care Center. Pooch's Best Friend is an amazing opportunity to allow me to spend more time and care for many new animals. I am certified in pet CPR & first aid.

Growing up I’ve always had a love and fascination and passion for all kinds of animals. My parents initiated me in the responsibility of having pets at home with our parrot Lorenzo and a few canaries, turtles and fish until that glorious day when I got my first dog… the first of many!. The unconditional love, loyalty, compassion and warmth that a pet can show you is really humbling and a life lesson on what we as humans should be. My dream since I was little is to found a shelter for dogs and cats without a home . The greatest part of being on the Pooch’s Best Friend team is that I’m able to be surrounded by new wonderful animals every single day, (I have the most amazing and fun job to ever exist!). I can always put out there my playful and loving personality, creativity, passion for hiking, sports, and my personal experience and awareness in dog behavior, but most important…my heart. I am certified in pet CPR & first aid.

When it comes to animals, I see them as loved family members and I want the very best for them. Growing up I was the child that begged my parents to get a pet. I promised to do everything and finally they gave in and got me my first dog. Loving and caring for Ginger was one of the most rewarding experiences in my childhood and just this year we have continued that experience with our two young boys by adding Chelsea, our new puppy, to our family. She has brought so much happiness to our home and we love her dearly. I have also been a pet parent to cats, rabbits, and fish. Animals love us unconditionally and that I feel is the best thing we can learn from them. I am certified in pet CPR & first aid.
